1. I was looking for insurance on the internet and e-mailed Tom. He was only 1 of many that I inquired for life insurance. Well he really helped me because he is a broker and can shop around for what I wanted through different Insurance companies. My case was special because I have Diabetes and hardly any companies would cover me or they wanted too high of premiums. Well tom worked for a couple of weeks and found 2 companies to choose from and I ended up buying my insurance from Genworth because I could afford that rate. Then he sent me to a Doctor for a physical and after a week we agreed on the rate and when the money was to come out of my bank account, then I gave him my bank account number and routing number for the monthly payments. I wanted to just pay the amount by check on my own but the insurance company would not do that. So I went ahead with the contract so he mailed it to me. I read the contract when I received it in the mail, Then I went to a friend of mine he use to be an agent, and had him read it over and he said it was fine. So finally I signed the paper and put in a cancelled check with it then I took it to the Post office and mailed it. A few days later Tom called me and said he received the papers and sent them off to the Insurance company and that we had to wait a few days. 2 days later I received a call from Tom and he said that everything was fine and that the money will start coming out every month for a set amounts of time. It is a Level Term Insurance.
