Brenda formed Insurance Agency Accounting and Bookkeeping (IAAB) in 2007. Performing agency accounting functions for many years, she witnessed technology change the field. Brenda realized that many agencies no longer need a full-time employee dedicated to bookkeeping. She also saw smaller agency owners struggle to do the work themselves or draft a CSR to handle these duties, often leading to less than desired results, eventual costs to repair, and loss of productive sales/service time. As premiums and commissions for agencies were squeezed, she recognized a unique opportunity to provide professional expertise for just the right amount of time and level of service needed.
