I moved to OHIO from Michigan 5 years ago and needed insurance for my 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. I wanted to stay with Farmers Insurance because I had used them for 20 years in Michigan and was very please with the agent I had there. The lady in the office was extremely helpful and patient and took time to explain how this process works in OH as it was very different in MI. We talked about me needs and what I wanted in the policy and how since OH is not a no fault” state the options needed are different. This all took place over the phone. I then went to get title, inspections and tags as required by OH and was pleased to find a quote waiting in my inbox when I returned home. I was surprised at the lower premiums in OH. The premium costs were about one quarter of the price of a policy in MI. I drove to the office the following day and filled out the paper work and paid for the policy. I am pleased to find I can use my credit card and their web-site to pay for the policy each time it must be renewed.
This agency has also been helpful in helping me explore other insurance needs such as small business and renters policies. Jeremy took a lot of time to explain the ins and outs of working for yourself and how he did it years ago. He explained the types of business insurance and the benefits and problems associated with each.
