I was recommend to use Eckhard Preuss by family when I had just started to drive. For a few years he was just fine, although the prices were quite high. I started to have problems at the age of 18. I had received a couple of speeding tickets, and had one rear end accident. Mr. Preuss call my home and asked if I could come in for a meeting to discuss my driving habits. I i arrived we had a brief discussion about the issues have had with driving and how it was going to start to affect my car insurance rates. After this he started pressuring me to buy life insurance, I was 18 living at home with no debt, I caved and bought the life insurance after he told me how proud my parents would be of me growing up and taking charge of my life. My parents were NOT pleased to hear this. He took advantage of my situation to make a sale. I called 24 hours later to cancel the life insurance policy and he was extremely rude and hung the phone up on me. I stayed with him for a few more years till I took the time to research prices for myself and left when I found I was being WAY over charged to the tune of 120.00 a MONTH!
I gave him a 1 above only because 0 was not an option! I would not recommend this agent to anyone, and I go out of my way to tell people this story whenever an insurance conversation comes up
