My overall experience with KY Farm Bureau has been good but not great. It was great until we experienced a total loss of our home due to a gas explosion. It’s times like that when you realize just how good or bad your insurance agent is.
The day the incident happened, our insurance agent came out to our home, what was left of it, to take a look. I though that was great and that she was going to be very helpful. I was wrong. That was the only thing our actual agent did. From there on out we were left to deal with the adjuster. Our agent was not able to answer one question for us. Her response was always you need to talk to the adjuster. Dealing with the adjuster was a total nightmare. She was only in the office 1 day a week and we could never reach her by phone.
In the end, everything worked out. But after going through such a devastating loss, the last thing we needed was to be jerked around by the insurance company.
