I used to work for State Farm in claims so when it came time to select a new local agent I asked around my office, and found that one of my favorite fellow employees (who was new at the time) was married to an agent who happened to be in the general area where I lived. I met with him and found him (as well as his staff) to be fun to talk to while still being professional. I transferred over my auto policy, and added a home owner’s policy since I was buying my first home. This was back in 2001. I have been with this same agent since then. I have also had two different life insurance policies with this agent over the years as I left State Farm and went down different career paths. Joe regularly suggests other products to me, but isn’t pushy about them. He even helped me to close out a life insurance policy I didn’t want to carry anymore even when that would mean a little less business for him. Because of his great service I regularly refer people to him. I also like how involved Joe is with his business. Yes he has people who work for him and help him with marketing, answering phones, and working with Spanish speaking customers, but Joe is also out there himself and even came by to inspect my property when it came time to do that for the Underwriting Department. I appreciate his personal touch, and look forward to working with him for years to come.
