1. We have had this insurance agent for at least 15 years, having both car and homeowners insurance. They have always been available for questions and given us good suggestions on insurance products. We came to them after my dad recommended them after a major insurance arbitrarily cancelled our homeowners policy, saying we had a bad roof, even though a roofing contractor said it was good for at least 10 more years. This agent worked with us to get good insurance through a reputable company for much less than this “major company”. He also helped us obtain an insurance binder when we were purchasing a commercial vehicle until we were covered under the company we leased to. This enabled us to start our business and protected us from a serious problem. They have suggested improvements and upgrades to the insurance products we purchase every year but have never been pushy or aggressive about what they were selling, just providing good solid advice. Our insurance has remained low and although it has increased slightly over the years due to inflation, we still pay significantly less than most people I know. They have been available for questions when we considered purchasing a car and provided us with a quote in very little time. They have always been helpful, polite and informative. We have never had to file a claim, but my dad who recommended this agent has reported very positive experiences when he has had to file a claim.
