Great so far.
I decided to leave Allstate after a bad experience regarding a claim. They not only refused my claim and upped my rate, but threatened to drop coverage entirely if I did not fix the problem I was trying to file a claim on at my own expense. They gave me the bad hands” treatment. Farm Bureau was recommended by a family member, and I have been pleased with the help Philip and his staff have provided so far. I called once and simply asked for my rate to be lowered, and they were able to do this for me. I have not had to file a claim yet, so I cannot provide commentary on whether claim processing is adequate. I suppose that is the real test of an insurance company.

Good prices. Not always easy to get a hold of
We had a few claim we had to make and it always seemed more difficult than it needed to be. While I would say I am pleased with our policy and the price, the customer service could be improved upon greatly. Once I was able to reach him he was always very pleasant and helpful. I know that agents have many customers and can’t always be at their phone. However, I feel more of an effort could be made to get to customers in a more timely manner. Overall I would say I will probably be shopping around for another provider writhin the next few months. I hope to be able to find a company that I feel I can get a hold of anytime I need to. I know in today’s society that’s a lot to expect but I’m going to remain hopeful.
