I’ve been on a member of this insurance agency since I was eighteen years old. I wasn’t that familiar with insurance companies. I was on my step-mom’s Auto insurance policy when they bought me my Jeep Wrangler. They paid for my insurance for a year and then I had to start paying my own. I’ve been with them ever since and I am now 21 years old. I’ve been in two wrecks within the past two years, both of which were not my fault. After those wrecks, I have numerous questions and concerns I expressed with Erie Insurance and Betty (my agent) was able to answer them all patiently. If she wasn’t able to answer it immediately, she would always take my name/number and I always received a call back within a timely manner. They never forgot. Customer service is really great with this specific agency in Hickory, NC. The prices aren’t that high either considering I am a relatively young driver. I pay $79 for full coverage on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler, which is lower than I anticipated. The only issue I have with this insurance company is that they weren’t much help in covering my wrecks. After my second wreck, the opposing party’s insurance was not going to accept fault. I thought my insurance would battle it out with the other but my Erie told me there wasn’t anything they could do considering I had liability only coverage at the time. Other than that, it’s been a pleasant experience dealing with Erie Insurance.
