I transfered to Dan after moving to a new state. I picked him mostly by chance (he had a decent sized office and looked to have a lot of customers). I kept him because he was and is good at making sure I am getting all the discounts I am eligible for.
For example, he suggested I get renter’s insurance because it came with a discount on car insurance. The discount on the car insurance was enough to make the renter’s insurance more than free. Basically, they paid me $20 to get renter’s insurance.
Another example: I have two cars. One, I only drive in Summer. He is the only agent to ever suggest that I garage the second car and put in on comprehensive only during the winter to save money.
Other agents seem happy to just take your money. Dan treats you as a valued customer and wants you to be happy with his service.
