I had a claim. Patrick subtly bullied me into not filing a claim. After a year of dealing with a man who finally decide to sue me, I called the State Farm Claim Center. The claims adjuster told me every reason Patrick gave me for why I shouldn’t file was untrue.
I have had State Farm insurance for around 10 years now and I have been happy with the coverage. I currently cover my primary home, two rental properties, two cars and have an umbrella liability coverage. When I have had claims with State Farm they have been quick to respond and I’ve never felt like they nickle and dime you on the claims end, I’ve felt that their payments have been fair. The only downside I’ve really had is that they are more expensive than other carriers, particularly on rental properties. I think you could find cheaper carriers out there, but you will definitely notice the difference if you ever have a claim. Their car insurance rates seem pretty reasonable especially when you get the discount for carrying multiple lines with them.
