1. When I started my new lease, I searched very shortly. My wife already had insurance through Jim Lindahl, so I figured we could package our cars together through State Farm. It was easy and painless. The employees are nice on the phone, and you receive positive cards throughout the season to your door, such as birthday or christmas cards. The one negative take-back I have from purchasing through this agency is that they have a real difficult time at updating information, if you put in a change request. It took what seemed like a year to change my wife’s last name to display properly on our insurance cards when we got married. Recently our car was lightly rear ended, and we had to set up the claim with our insurance. Instead of us receiving a call, her parents received the call. We’ve been married for over five years, have requested all ties be cut, the last name changed, numbers changed, but somehow they called HER PARENTS instead of OUR number! Absolutely incredible. I understand that there could possibly be a disconnect with the main State Farm outlet and the local Agency computers too. These discrepancies do not affect the value of my insurance at all – but they definitely hamper my opinion of the local Agency as a whole. Overall, I like Jim and his team! But I do see myself checking into options in the near future…
