Dealing with an insurance agent feels like a waste of time and money. Having to discuss my policy and feel like I’m haggling, when the numbers are most likely set in stone, seems pointless. I could accomplish everything I accomplished on the phone with my agent online. I could probably accomplish it faster as well all while understanding my policy much better. Nothing personal against Jain herself, she seems like a perfectly decent human being. I’m not a big of making me jump through hoops for the sake of jumping through hoops however. All this can be done easily and the fact that they make it a requirement to speak to an agent seems like they are just trying to employ people, not because it helps profitability but for the sake of having employees.
