I have been with State Farm for years, but only recently switched to this agent because she was closer to where I live. I had an accident this summer and my car was totaled. I still had my old agent in my hometown which is an hour away. I had no problems with the insurance company, the accident wasn’t my fault. But I still had to go in and sign a few things and pick up the check for my car. It was too difficult to find a time to go to my old agent, so they were able to send my papers to an agent closer to me. I decided after that experience that it was time to change agents, even though I had had a good experience with my old agent. It just wasn’t convenient any more. I kept the same policies with no real changes. They called me a few times trying to get me to come in and meet with them. I didn’t want to change any of my policies, so I didn’t want to go meet with the, They called a few more times but then left me alone which I appreciate. I do like that they are only on the next block from me if I need to go into the office, but I am happy that I can do pretty much everything online which is very important to me.They haven’t bothered me much trying to sell to me and have been prompt with any changes or anything I’ve asked for.
