I purchased a home in 2012 and immediately was on the look out for a home and auto insurance combo. I had been going through Richfield State Insurance for quite some time with my auto so I figured they would be a good company to go to for my combo package. I was linked up with Jim Poppie and he seems to be knowledgeable about insurance. He has helped me out in the past with questions in regards to billing, new insurance quotes, etc. Unfortunately, I don’t always have the easiest time reaching Jim. I have only had a few instances where I have needed to call up and speak with him over the past few years but each time it seems to be difficult. I always am speaking to the front desk receptionist who has always stated that Jim is busy and will need to call me back. That is usually not an issue but I find myself having to call the company back after the time period lapsed in which he was supposed to call me. I’m not sure if he is just incredibly busy with other customers? When I do get him on the phone, he is a very nice fellow and provides me with quick information. I just wish that it was easier to get in touch with him in a more timely manner. Having to wait for a callback and then not receiving one is a bit disheartening. I plan on continuing with Richfield State Insurance and having Jim as my agent but we will have to see what the future holds. I may decide to check out another company if the lack of communication continues.
