   Several years ago, it was my first time moving to a new apartment. Like most of the other apartment management companies, they require the renters to purchase a renters’ insurance policy that covers at least 100,000 Personal Liability but renters can choose their own carrier. I searched online and requested a quote from all the big insurance companies like: Geico, StateFarm, Allstate etc. It was weird how some of the websites couldn’t give you a quote until an agent call or vice versa. StateFarm was being one of the them. I forgot who called whom. But the StateFarm website assigned me to this agent, and that’s how I got started me this agent. After comparing with the other companies, StateFarm was cheapest with the same coverage. I had even checked with my auto-insurance companies to see if adding renters’ insurance to my existing auto-insurance to get the mutli-policies discount but StateFarm’s renters’ insurance was still cheaper. The agent was nice to add some ridiculous line that the apartment management company required, so it was nice of them. I always pay my bill in full, I could call the agency or do it online. I have had no problem with billing so far. I had never filed a claim and hopefully never have to.

   I have had my car, home and umbrella insurance policies with Glenn and his team for over 20 years. His team (Connie) has always been great to work with. They are response and helpful when I have new requirements and questions. I appreciate their service. They are great at looking at my personal circumstances and offered concrete solutions. Over the years, we have had claims on our house for a weather damaged chimney and roof. They got the claims inspector out on time to inspect these damages and make an assessment. The result was that they agreed that the damages were caused by weather damage (i.e. hail and wind) and agreed to pay for the repairs. I can’t tell you how important that was to me and my family. I will stay with State Farm.
