I lived in another state and was insured with State Farm there. I inherited property in Wisconsin from my father. His homeowners and car insurance was with another company. When I contacted Dad’s insurance carrier his agent did not want to work with me at all, in fact wanted to charge me a higher premium because the property was vacant. I was not planning to move from California to Wisconsin for at least a year so that I could take care of my personal affairs. Since I was upset with the other carrier I contacted Holly Jorgensen since I was already a State Farm customer. She was more than helpful to me, made many suggestions that would save me money until such time that I actually did relocate. She knew I had a short time frame in Wisconsin before I had to return to California so she readjusted her schedule to accomodate mine to put new policies in place. After my physical move she again met with me to ensure I was sufficiently covered. She actually knows her clients personally, they are not just a policyholder and paycheck to her.
