Car insurance was up for renewal. Quote came up several $100 higher than previous. Decided to get quotes from other insurance companies and all came up lower than State Farm. Called my insurance agent’s office and spoke with her receptionist explaining the situation. Was told she would inform Athena of the situation and expect a call back to discuss the quote. After about a week I didn’t receive a phone call and went with a cheaper competitor. Shortly after that after my car insurance would have expired I required a call back from Athena. From the phone conversation it came across as if the didn’t know the details/reason for the call back. At the point the customer service experience was down the drain and didn’t fell like she wanted to retain a customer.
