When I started my insurance policy I had one car and also had renters insurance. He quoted me much lower than I was paying at a different company so I decided to switch. I chose to do direct draft which was great until I needed to change my policy. I added a second car to my policy and was drafted twice for the full amount of car 1 and renters and well as the full amount of car on, renters and the added cost of car two. I called thinking no problem it will be refunded quickly. I was wrong not only did they not help me he kept directing me to call main number for state farm. Isn’t this why I have a local agent to help me out with the problems I have? After calling the main number I was directed back to calling him again. Instead of refunding the amount back into my account he instead credited it on my next bill. Even though I did not get the money back immediately I was ok since I was not going to owe so much on next bill. I was wrong next bill came through as normal and double charged again. He said it would take 60 days for a bill credit to process on my account. Now I am stuck with this company until I get my credits back through my account and then I will be changing.
