I had some problems with my previous auto insurance company. I didn’t want to change, because I had been with them for several years. I was in an accident, and they covered everything; however, I called them about six months ago and asked about my lowering my premium because it had been three years since the accident. The agent told me that we would have to cancel the policy and then start a new one. Otherwise, I would have to pay the much higher premium based on my accident for another six months. When I called back at the appropriate time, I was told I’d been given incorrect information and would have to pay the higher rate, even though it had been three years. I told them this was unacceptable and looked for a different company. I decided on Country because they had a office nearby. I called them, spoke to Mr. Satern, and everything went smoothly, including my far less expensive policy, which actually provided a little more coverage than the other company.
