My mother referred me to Jerry (who is the auto insurer for all cars in our family) when I independently purchased my own vehicle (in addition to a vehicle that I already had that was registered under my parent’s policy). She wanted me to have my own policy and so she gave me Jerry’s number. I called him and we had never spoken before so I told him I was my mother’s daughter and he immediately recognized the family name. He was very clear and concise in explaining to me my options for insuring this particular vehicle. He recommended several policies and then emailed me a complete overview of recommended policies for me to think over. I called him back later with questions about how I could get my monthly payment even lower, and we talked for close to 45 minutes about what we both thought were necessary and unnecessary for me in my policy. He really understood my low income situation and looked for every conceivable possibility to lower my monthly payment and did all of the math for me. He spoke to me with authority, but also like a friend just looking out for my best interest. Because my family are good customers of his (he mentioned this), he was able to bend the rules for me in more than one situation (it was related to the timing of my purchasing and registering the vehicle). He gave me his personal cell phone number to call any time with questions. “
