1. I have to wonder if this company is fly by night. I have been with them for 3 years and never had to call to discuss my homeowners policy. This week I have needed them pertaining to my insurance policy and no help being offered or calls returned.

   I need to file a claim on my policy and I keep getting the run around and excuses passed along to me when I am able to get a receptionist on the phone. Just wondering if somehow if a claim is filed whether or not it may hurt (REDACTED NAME) Allstate Insurance office and their metrics with the insurer.

   Either way I say stay as far away from this insurance company. They will roll out the red carpet for you when you call about insurance. However don’t say you were not warned about the issues you will have once you do need to get the service you are paying for and they are making money off of.

2. This is a good agency and a good agent. Most of the time I speak with other people at the office but when I have spoken directly with him, he was pleasant and helpful. When My children were younger and started driving, my rates went through the roof. I actually called at least 5 other agency’s and even though I was paying $6k a year, it was the best price going. Now that my kids are off our insurance, I shopped around once again and the rates from this agent are far below what the other companies offered. I stay on my toes and do not take it for granted I am getting the best rates. I will still shop around and as soon as I am not getting the best rate, I will leave. I have no loyalty to anyone other than giving me the best price.

3. I have been a customer of David Tapia for over 8 years now. In the last two years, both of my teenage daughters were added to my auto insurance policy and I priced policies before adding them. David Tapia was still the lowest price available after pricing no less than 6 competitors.

   Since that point in time 2 years ago, both of my daughters were involved in three accidents. One was their fault the other two were not. The customer service we received with all three accidents was exceptional. They viewed us as people not just a number and were genuinely concerned with our well being. The claims adjusters were caring and extremely helpful in helping us understand what was required on our part and also in handling every aspect of the claim. We were never bothered by the other insurance company involved and our vehicles were fixed quickly. Their office is small and sometimes I have had to wait on hold to speak with an agent, but it usually is not too long and easier than calling the 800 number for Allstate.
