1. I have been using Larry Lucas State Farm in Columbia South Carolina for about seven years now. My experience with the staff as well as with Larry himself has always been excellent. They are quick to respond to any questions I have had, and the staff is very friendly. While I have not shopped around for rates in the recent past, when I was originally seeking out a new agent, I found that Larry’s rates were comparable if not better to the other National companies. The reason I gave this agency a try in the first place is because it is the same one that my mother and stepfather use, and he also does financial planning for them to a degree. Mom’s impression of him was very positive and I have found it the same with me.

2. I am very satisfied with my agent. His office staff is very friendly and the rates are very affordable. The only time I had to go to his office, the receptionist at the front desk was very helpful and took care of what I needed right away. They do not hound me by trying to get me to buy other insurance products, so I appreciate that very much. If the time comes when I need to get more insurance coverage on another vehicle or home, I will definitely be contacting him first for a quote. Also, the office is very close to home, so if I ever need anything, it is very convenient for me to stop by. I would definitely recommend this agency to anyone looking to get new coverage or to just get a quote for a cheaper policy.

3. I initially went to Larry Lucas because I was in need of car insurance and State Farm had the most discount options. I immediately met with an agent who was very helpful because they found every discount I met criteria for. They also were open to me asking questions. Next, when I bought a house I bought homeowners insurance from Larry Lucas as well. We have had two instances of possibly needing to use our home insurance, however we decided not to after talking with Larry. Both times, Larry educated us on our deductible and how the repairs would only be just shy of the deductible, therefore he told us to not make claims so our insurance cost wouldn’t go up next year. I appreciate that Larry is straightforward and keeps our best interest in mind. Also, every time I’ve called or e-mailed the agency I get a quick response, usually the same day.
