1. John Fortier has always provided excellent coverage, since I started driving at age 16. Thirty years later, he has assisted in a major claim involving an automobile accident that occurred out of state. He personally came to our house to evaluate our new heating system before helping us to decide how it would affect our insurance policy, and even shared his personal experiences with the pellet stove we had recently purchased. We have roadside coverage 24/7, which is very reassuring, since both of our children are now driving and on our policy. We recently purchased my midlife crisis” vehicle – a Jeep Wrangler Sahara. When we needed proof of insurance to drive it from the lot, John’s agents faxed everything we needed directly to the dealership. Because this was our third vehicle, he was extremely receptive to discussing insurance options for our older vehicles, when we decide to drop “full coverage” for them. So far, because of the kind of service he has provided, we have not reduced our coverage at all.

2. Before I met John I thought all insurance agents were the same, that they were just clock punchers looking to squeeze as much money out of me as possible.

   John actually forced me to meet him his office. I was reluctant and almost decided to cancel altogether But John actually took the time to sit down and have a conversation with me. He actually cared! And he took the time to understand my personalized needs. He went over a bunch of different auto insurance policies and made me understand that I was under insured and that my home was improperly insured.

   I am cheap. So I always shopped for the cheapest possible insurance. I always equated great customer service with high cost. John proved to me that that isn’t true. He reduced my rates by over 25%.

   The first thing he did as a new customer was to give me his business card and write his home phone number on the back in case of emergency. Well, on my way back from Boston I was rear ended by a drunk driver. I called John at 2:30 AM expecting no answer or to get hung up on. He met me at the scene, 50 miles from home!

   This man has a client for life.
